Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. She managed to make it on her student stipend and work part-time jobs. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other paths she could take. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. The group broke up before they appeared in I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist to The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her debut solo album Diva, which was released in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically it was a huge achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favourite blues, jazz, and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May 2019. This E.P. This album is a companion piece to her Now I let it go... art installation that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first self-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a performer. At the end of the 70s, she achieved minor fame as members in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva, which featured a number of successful songs like Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass.
