Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African actress and model born on 2 December 1981. Her most notable performances are on television and films. Brandt started her career as an actor in the New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom and was able to make her American debut in the role as Naevia in the historical series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Since then, she has appeared in many TV shows including the likes that of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. From 2016, Brandt has been playing the character as Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born in the city of Cape Town in South African. The family moved to Auckland with her family when she reached her teens. The path she took to her career started as a model in print and commercial advertisements. Before she rose to recognition as a model, she worked in the field of retail sales as well as working as an expert in recruitment for information technology. She played Leilani an NZer in the sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. Her first big appearance was in 2021 as she played the character of slave-girl Naevia for the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena in the year 2021, she played the character of Naevia. Craig Parker and she co-starred on three separate television series, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In the year 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter on Netflix's cult show Lucifer. The character she played on Lucifer is her most famous role to date. In the show, she is paired together with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
